Don't Bear Internet Fraud

This fraudster should not be confused with any legitimate company of the same or similar name - the following website graphics and the evidence of fraud clearly identify the fake website and these fraudsters.

World Import scam is a standard money laundering mule recruiting website. The website exists solely to lend an air of legitimacy to the inevitable illegal money mule job and associated spamming campaign. The above website is home-brewed pure 'Runglish' and embodies content stolen from other websites in a patchwork fashion. They claim to have been in business since 1992, but their website domain world-import.info was only registered with the registrar of many other fraud domains on this website - UK2 Group Ltd. on 03-Feb-2010 for the usual criminal's domain minimum period of only one year - clear evidence of misrepresentation and fraud. The payload of the website is the usual illegal 'Money Mule' job of 'Prime Marketing International Representative' which appears under the 'Vacancies' tab. They have no internet presence, their location details are bogus and they claim to be located in St. Petersburg but their only telephone numbers are US ones. They also seem terribly confused about whether they are builders, real estate agents, shippers, antique dealers or simply retailers of Russian goods.

Evidence of Spamming and Criminal Fraud:

i) Their website content is a patchwork of pure 'Runglish' and stolen content. For instance, their above home page first image, entitled "We Are Castle Builders, Dream Makers" has been stolen from this US building company's website as is self evident. Then there's the pure nonsense turn of phrase such as "Currently, World Import employees more then 500 employers all over the world, and company is still growing!". Their Antique Shop page is largely stolen from here and so it goes on.

ii) Their domain world-import.info was only registered with UK2 Group Ltd. on 03-Feb-2010 for the usual criminal's domain minimum period of only one year which makes a nonsense of their ludicrous claims, (above), of "In 1999 World Import had more then 20 branch offices all over the Russia, Ukraine and Kazakhstan and company owners decided that it was a time to go for international, western market, thus, in 2008, World Import opened it's first branch office in Canada, British Columbia, which now serves as a Canadian HQ to World import. World Import also operates three divisions in Europe, located in London, Warsaw and in Oslo". Clear evidence of fraud and misrepresentation. They have an additional maildrop domain of wesst-netts.com.

iii) It's a pretty generic name, but a Google search for "World Import" shows that these criminals have absolutely no genuine web presence. Their total lack of web presence is completely incompatible with their above ridiculous claims.

Do not be tempted.. Clear evidence of criminal fraud. Notice the 'META' errors in that sentence by the way, possibly caused by the crooks failed 'cut & paste' techniques.

vii) No legitimate company would advertise for private citizens to operate as unlicensed and illegal money transfer agents. To do so clearly defines the World Import company as both criminal and fraudulent. There is also a 'phishing' for identity theft aspect due to the nature of identity proof usually requested upon registration, (usually a photocopy of a driving license or passport).

• - They claim above to have offices all over the place, but do not publish any details of them.
• - Notice the Russian address, but US toll-free 'phone numbers.
• - A Google Search for the address "87 bd Peterovkoe Saint Petersburg" returns not a single hit - if they really had been in business since 1992 it would do.
• - A Google search for the US toll-free telephone number "1-800-720-4895" returns no hits.
• - A Google search for the US toll-free Fax. number "1-800-640-0141" returns no hits.
All evidence of fake location details.

ix) Although they claim to have an office in the UK, there is no such company as 'World Import' listed in the UK Companies House - clear proof of a fake company - check for yourself.
