A couier company is looking for a part-time Independent Contract Courier to join their team working from home. We lead the business by delivering everything from envelopes and mid-size shipments to large goods requiring trucks, along with a range of logistics solutions. Independent Contract Couriers main responsibilities will include the daily pickup of mail sent from local facilities to your home, as well as separating and distributing the picked mail to local and international addresses. All shipping expenses are covered by the firm; the cost of packaging materials is reimbursed at the end of each payment period. This is a commission-based job; a standard commission paid for processing a single package is $30.

Position Responsibilities:

- Daily separation of shipments from USPS, FedEx, UPS and other carriers;
- Forwarding outgoing FedEx, UPS and USPS packages;
- Maintaining everyday logs and provide weekly statistics on the processed mail;
-Communicating concerns to the head office as they occur.

General Conditions:

- High School Diploma or equivalent;
- Strong computer skills, especially Excel and Outlook; - Outstanding multi-tasking skills and attention to details; - Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Fee of $30 paid per each delivered package;
- Paid vacation 2 weeks and days-off;
- Friendly supervisor support on business days; - Reimbursement of common expenses packaging materials, additional charges, etc..
