Abyline Page

This fraudster should not be confused with any genuine company with the same or similar name. The above graphics identify the fraudulent site & it alone.

Abyline is just the usual run-of-the mile Russian money laundering scam site. It's a bogus website whose sole function is to simply lend legitimacy to a massive money laundering mule job spam campaign targeted at career websites and their subscribers.

The above screen shot is of the Abyline 'Disclaimer' page and I show it because it contains three of the criminal's aliases on one page - AvaSoft, Fargo Labs and Abyline. All identical websites fulfilling the same fraudulent function.

Evidence of Spamming and Criminal Fraud:

i)
On the home page of their website, the company claims to have been in business since 1994 but their domain abyline.biz was only registered with Enom on December the 20th. 2007.

ii) As demonstrated in the above screenshot, the criminal has missed altering his previous aliases Avasoft and Fargo Labs when he created his new Abyline fake website.

iii) The criminals policies on the above disclaimer page have been lifted directly from the Hi-Plains Trading Post website policies page here.

iv) These criminals send out huge amounts of spam purporting to have "seen your resume online", looking for a response and if you do respond you get an email proposing an obvious money laundering mule job, as per this example received from a site contact, (identical spams also seen in the wild from this and others of the criminal's aliases):

Spam Example (Initial Contact):

Greetings, My name is Nazar Klimenko,

human resources and direct manager of Abyline. We have reviewed your resume online and consider you as a possible candidate for the part-time position available at our company.

Let me give you some facts about Abyline first:

Abyline is a fast growing offshore software development company that produces turnkey IT solutions for its customers worlwide.

Over the past few years, located in Eastern Europe, Abyline has become one of the major players in offshore outsourcing business. Since 1994 successfully operates at the offshore software development market providing our customers from Western Europe, USA and Canada with reasonably priced high quality software products and services.

Recently we have been receiving a great number of applications for our services from customers in the USA and Canada. We are strongly interested to grant the best services and in the shortest dates to overcome all the difficulties that are likely to appear. However, we regret to find out that we can't provide our customers sufficient payment options flexibility, as large amount of our clients prefer payment options that are not respresented in Russia yet (f.e. Paypal) or leads to high fees and delays to process. So, we decided to establish a vacancy of the transaction operator to deal with payments of relatively small amounts of 1000-6000 USD. Now we have 10-15 positions available (depending on our clients activity) to assist in creation of our virtual local presence for the back office functions.

The range of duties of Transaction Operator will consist of: - Process work requests necessary to maintain an effective payments transfer program - Managing cash and balancing receipts - Making collections (if necessary) - Posting payments - Making bank deposits - Perform related duties and responsibilities as required For the services provided Transaction Operator will receive 5% of each transaction processed and the base wage of $2,000 USD per month. If you're interested in the position we have and would like to have more information, just email me at nazar.klimenko@gmail.com to receive a prompt and competent response.

Best Regards,

Nazar Klimenko

A site contact received the above spam, replied and got the following email response in return:

Thank you for the interest you have taken in the open position we have available.

The position is home-based, so there is no need to relocate.

I will give you a short summary of our business activities and duties of a Transaction Operator.

The position we offer requires reception of payments from Abyline customers and remitting the payments for the company needs.

Today we have enough of potential clients who are interested in our services. However, we faced the problem of getting certain types of transactions (wire transfers, check payments, Paypal, etc). International payments can take much time to process and also leads to high fees. So, responsibility of a Transaction operator consists of 2 parts:

1. Reception of payments. Once our customers are ready to complete the payment, you'll receive a notification and the payment will be forwarded to you. As soon as you receive the transfer you should withdraw the amount in cash and forward it via MoneyGram to our manager in Russia. You will receive all necessary instructions and support prior to getting a transfer and will have to file us reports on current state of business. You'll need to open and maintain bank account especially for the company needs.

2. Posting payments You'll have to send the payments sometimes for the company needs. You'll receive all necessary instruction, as well as funds to process the transfer. Commission rate of a Transaction Operator is 5% from each transfer processed plus 2,000 USD base salary per month. All fees and charges related to the transaction (bank charges, Money Gram fees should be deducted from the payment, so you won't have to invest your own funds to cover that. All transfer arrangements will be processed by our sales department so you will have to take care only about transactions. You will not spend much time on this job. If you accept the offered position please send us a confirmation e-mail to get the draft of Agreement.

You can always find more about our company and services we provide at http://www.abyline.biz.

Be free to contact me with any questions regarding this offer or our company. -- Nazar Klimenko nazar.klimenko@abyline.biz

The above is the classic money mule job function, totally illegal and will result in your bank account and all your assets being frozen, plus the possiblity of a visit from the police. Don't be tempted. Note that the response email address uses the criminal's domain abyline.biz which links the spam & the crime to the domain.

v) Many examples have been found of the criminal's spams on open forums and career websites using a multitude of different names. Here's an example of another one seen on opensubscriber.com:

Greetings,

My name is Nikolay Barmak, human resources and direct manager of Abyline. We have reviewed your resume online and consider you as a possible candidate for the part-time position available at our company.

vi) No genuine company would recruit "Transaction Operators" from among the untrained, unknown general population in a foreign country - the whole idea is ludicrous apart from the fact that the activity is totally illegal and defines the Abyline 'Company' as fraudulent and criminal.

vii) This bogus company has no Google internet presence whatsoever except as spammers and fraudsters.

The above evidence clearly demonstrates that the Abyline website is a fraudulent website set up with intent to deceive. If you are an abuse team that has received an abuse report regarding these fraudsters, please consider immediate termination of their services in view of the absolutely undeniable evidence of criminal fraud - please don't delay - these criminals will not respond to any communication from you, (all their whois data is usually false), but will simply take advantage of any attempt at communication as a delaying tactic to allow them time to carry on their criminal activity and prepare their next network.
